What is Humane Education?
Humane Education is more than pet care information; it helps children develop an appreciation, sensitivity and respect for fellow beings - animal as well as human. It's an approach to teaching that inspires kindness to animals, people and the environment – every living thing. Knowledge of humane education concepts will provide individuals with the capacity for responsible and humane decision making.
The SPCA Animal Rescue currently offers humane education programs for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
