Volunteer Program
Interested in making a difference in your community? One of the best places to volunteer may be right near you: at the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue animal shelter. As one of the largest animal welfare organizations in New Brunswick, the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue relies on hundreds of volunteers, who have a variety of interests and talents, to provide care and improve the welfare of animals in our shelter and our community.
There are so many ways for you to help the animals, whether it be helping at a special event, walking dogs, or cuddling cats; the SPCA Animal Rescue appreciates that you want to donate your valuable time and we will make every effort to provide a productive, educational and rewarding experience for you while you are making a difference in the lives of homeless animals.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, we ask that you attend a volunteer information session where you will learn about the many volunteer positions, information about time commitments, and go on a tour of the shelter. Thank you for your interest in the welfare of orphaned animals in our community, and we look forward to having you join our SPCAAR volunteer team.
